We have to build from the ground up again, we always have these intertwining threads that get confused and constrained and don’t really lead anywhere. It’s noble and ambitious to reach for a real bolt of inspiration or some kind of overriding principal to guide us forward, and I welcome it but when it gets too convoluted we have to go back to smaller more tangible steps.

We are doing well financially in online video production, so we seek the flow of balance there, we can invest.

We need a new car for a start, but it may be time to update the wardrobe, or well be aware of this so rather than being listless we can make some purchases. We are preparing in little ways for the lift up.

You can go and get shirts and a freezer, and a phone, why not. What about the front room? We need to purge it of junk, so it’s back toward where it needs to be, ready to be a blank canvas, which means organising the back room also. But we can’t really do much until we deal with the car, so we have to next it. What’s next for the meantime, do the car, trees?

You never answer the question of what becomes of the extra money. Assistants. It’s the only way. Do we want assistants doing dvd so we can do video? What’s the point? To get that further along in terms of the cooking temperature there.

But we need breakthrough with our own game. We have to aim higher because the resources we have compared to the return we’re expecting means we should be trying to aim for a good outcome asap. And that needs to be talent. What’s the vision there? Well where’s the time? It’s nice to have these ideas but who’s going to do the work? You need to get people doing the work.

Once that happens, once I can go have breakfast and then leave to do something else . . . I need to almost be starting at 11 so I can be done by 2pm and ready take off for 1 or 2 sessions. But I mean seriously because you can buy a few sessions a week, you just need to get absolutely clear about this.

First the photo shoot, I think we can take 3 steps.

step 1, visual content, step 2 performance and video, step 3 sex appeal and compelling viewing, step 4 website and business plan

but, what it comes down to is if we spend $50+ what are we getting?

1 sexy video? 1 childrens video? 1 presentation? some of my own dumb stuff?

If you had $300, because you had 10,000 hits, and you paid 4 girls $50 to make 8 videos and they all got 1000 hits . . .

The only problem is you’d be spending 2 days to make $100, but soon enough you’d have 100 videos and be making $200+ just on residual viewing. Once you get that one girl who gets 10k views whatever she does . . . but I could make that a requirement, say to them, look. When your videos are getting 1000 hits a week (and I’m making $30) then I will build the website. Meantime, you have to do the blogging stuff on our website.

But that’s what I was talking about, 2 days for $100, I couldn’t really have it, maybe I need to slowly walk my way to making a couple of hundred per week.

Is this what I want to do? Have $1500 from main business coming in $300 from gardening, pirates, music, trading, and video prodction whatever, and then getting a rolling $200 on through this well I think so. We’re building towards the five making enough for me to get $500.

It’s almost as if the rolex is now coming for me. Wants I’ve bought sjoes, jeans, shirts, I’ll be done. Maybe some dress shoes, and definitely some belts and sunglasses, now you’re on your way. The rolex is not for me right now.

What about the house? What you’ve go tis a freezer, TV, and to make the front room nice. We need to get the carpet cleaned. We need some slight rearrangements and I think that table may be out of luck. We need to purge the room, and basically keep picking on the ugliest thing in it. I don’t know if plants or whatever will make it nicer, I really have to think about it, maybe a beer fridge. Man we will honestly be struggling to spend $500.

What next? Phone, maybe a mixer.

So we are now being called upon to institute a plan to get our situation sorted right across the board. It was always a struggle, we always if only, if only we had a chance to make an opportunity. Well the chance of an opportunity has arrived.

We need ideas about how we’re going to kick up, advertising is too limiting.

You’ve said it yourself you know what’s going to happen, you’re going to have 10 -15k with no idea what to do with it. But we are all responsible for our own actions, I can’t be held to it. We have to make the art flow, forget what you’re not going to do, focus on what you will do.

But that’s what I’m saying if we were only making 15, we’d have so much time we haven’t had so far, so that’s at the core, more balance, knowing that if te balance slips the other way for just a while, it’s okay. give me that new list we we were talking about.

I will get the car thing sorted so the big one is gone, and I am right now chipping away at adwords and soon I will return to archiving, chipping away at the two.

The first goal is to be getting 50 hits from adwords per week for $10. With the archiving, I want to finish that gallery, turn it into “I can only ask” and then move on to setting up the photo display features etc. in the archive. No wait, media.

With the website when I get back – music, media, let’s talk, archive, blog. The more I archive, the more it opens up the section for more ideas. The more I do, the more it’s a hobby, which I will write up details of in my blog.

Trees just takes a little work and a payment and I need not think of it.

It’s almost a non thing but I will push on regardless. I reckon we can smack adwords and trees with a good push, archiving is just something that pushes along, we need to look at the car situation up there and consider it. Although that is about biding my time, so I say soon as, you start pushing the adwords and you strike trees from that list. But soon enough cars and adwords will be gone soon and I’ll be left with nothing but music videos and video production.

All that there is.

Except for the fact that rather than turning time into money, I have to turn money back into time, and what a really mean is whole days and nights to focus on creative video production, music videos etc. How am I going to do that without assistants?

I’m not. It’s all about the assistants turning up to do work.

We may have to take the same idea with the gigs of trying to get the best of both worlds. I reckon we need to work every angle. Hopefully, only doing a few hours work each day. leaving plenty of time for my 4 prong attack, 4 directions for

- talent – ramp ads, website,
- malls/street – 3-7pm – business card etc.
- internet – pay membership
- scene – friday/saturday

If we can commit to this I think we will be good but again like the music we want to start as we mean to continue, we need to get the tools we need.

Most importantly we must show courage. Continuing courage. We must make time in the day for it.

Well where are you aiming to be? Well with a couple of different girls going – so I see that we reach a level for our websites and video and we just start tossing it all in a pit like:

Is already underway – I am just a little disorientated towards what we’re doing – I know we have to go to the kings and polyps ideas next. And I have crowdsourcing ideas for those music videos. it will probably cost me $200 to do each one.

Sometimes I feel confident like we’re going to be the stallion that mounts the world. Sometimes I feel down like I can’t break through, I can’t step up. But it’s essentially all the same. Why isn’t it all happening? It would be better to have a better grasp of everything going on.

We seem to think that things aren’t progressing because we don’t understand. Look at this when you’ve got down your website videos and video production:

That seems so crazily easy. You’re skirting around assistance though. And I accept my reluctance of adwords, it’s not even really a contender until my content delivery is perfected, advertising is not something you just walk into without the requisite preparations.

This where we’re having a problem, bridging wrom a month or two, when we have videos going up and ads running bringing visitors, to a year or two, when we’re supposed to be travelling and gigging putting out tunes every month that consistently sell 1000 copies.

I think there’s a year or two there of coming back again with a new song, a new video, and a new campaign every month with a newsletter, just hammering it home relentlessly, losing the momentum, and picking it up again and moving forward.

I think we need to really take a step back and acknowledge how far we’ve come with our money. It’s not about retirement. Or getting all hyped up on an ego trip. It’s just about working on the business to allow more of what I want to do.

I think I’ve been lucky recently actually, I’ve had a chance to see how it might be.

What I have seen is how I could keep working and grow more, and not fix my problems. If I had someone here helping me, then I would still be working, and earning more, and not fixing my problems, how do I deal with that? What is the alternative?

No you see you have to go through it, you need to grapple hook over, pull yourself up there, you need the assistants. Once we take care of business, which starts with the car. Then what?

Understand this money, what’s it all about? I could save another $15k and go nowhere with video production, or I could neglect video services, move forward in art,
and suddenly find I have to work to get enough work to cover my increasingly plentiful lifestyle.

What’s my idea? Slight but critical improvements to give me hours back. But if I just stopped blogging I’d have all the hours I wanted! This comes back to the blockage theory. On another blog, we suggested that the conditions we working under maybe to blame as I am continually distracted by relevant concerns.

We have to think more about the pivot we’re embarking on, and steady our leverage.

If we keep going and we do have 10k-20k, what doe it mean? At what point do we change our projections? At what point do we say no more? And who do we say no to? We already have those numbers, this is ultimately what we’re facing right now. Those jewel cases have to be charged for. But that seems like small fry, trying to ratchet up a couple of hundred is no good, especially . . . yes, no no no! We need assistance, what’s the worst we can get away with?

We have learnt today that our blockage is a business issue and we have to deal with it through business.

So if you kept all this up for 3 years you’d find it unnecessary surely and we know where we have to be leaning over to.

Right now we push our video production and website video. When the websites are done and being advertised, what next? The bigger tunes, better videos, better site. Party. Ads.

It’s just very hard to get used to the new budgets. I feel like all my time is being robbed and I just need to relax and even things out even more, the works not done in that area.

I say sure, put away 2k for a holiday, amd 2k for gigs, and 1k extra to make the site extra awesome but partying and promo, lets see it for real before we commit thoughtlessly. I always thought I’d come to a maintenance point, and we’ve done the sums, it’s $200. making the total $1350

You can talk about your video talent – what’s our key approach at the moment? It’s all about time.

I start to see what my life could be like. A very strong idea that all I need to do is step my art up just a little bit and meet a decent girl I actually like, and my whole life of struggle might easily be transformed, and I arrive at a point where people know what I’m doing and they see me out with my gorgeous honey.

It’s not the safest or healthiest state of mind to be honest, but when you are able to see what life could be like, it changes your perspective.

I need to spread it out in simpler terms. What is something that is more meaningful than money that is easy to work toward? What are you doing

But what about the vibe that’s being expressed here, that if I settle for one thing, it only makes me dread the monotony and want more.

No I mean the vibe that suddenly if you have a hot girlfriend and are being paid to play, making money doesn’t matter any more? There’s a strange psychological jigsaw puzzle there. So I am choosing to make an extra $1000 in video production but I’d rather the other option.

It’s maybe a reality that if I want to live a normal life, I might not make $2 million. I might not have strings of beautiful women. I might not be one of the names of local drum and bass.

So suddenly I’m that guy, that cool guy who has a hot girlfriend, and is a DJ and everything, and I run my business and make lots of money from video production. What then? I just feel so weird. So what happens? I go overseas some, y’know, take a holiday with my girlfriend, just to do it. I believe it wouldn’t really be what I want. A holiday is quite like a breakfast, in that you don’t want to go on holiday every month or it wouldn’t be exciting.

What would I like to do?

Go deeper into the experience of what I know and the meaning in there. The energy that exists there. I don’t think we can really know.

There are obviously questions here that have to be deciphered. That’s why I write and I don’t progress elsewhere, because there are more fundamental questions.

I want to make the next questions hard. If you were settled down what would be your numbers?

Well it’s like this, I’d be not worried about spending money because I’m not holding onto hopes and dreams. The money that needs to be spent would be spent, and the benefits of time would be worthwhile as spare time is more worthwhile. This is what the ultimate question is, if I was happier with a girl, doing art, why not go for that? Because such a thing is a luxury, you lose the girl and the art doesn’t work out, what have you got?

I’m not much of a gambler, really, I prefer a plan. So make a plan to get what you want. I am often frustrated that I don’t feel I’m getting it right and certain things are going wrong. I get flustered.

You’re either reaching for too much or reaching for too little. It’s only worth reaching for too much if you know what you’re reaching for. That’s why we head back to other blogs to get knowledge of what we’re reaching for.

I don’t know about girls, I can’t be too fussy because I don’t know where it’s headed. A super hot girl or a girl with emotional sensitivities could be a handful. A cute girl who is basically smart enough to know a good thing, but kind of culturally malleable, of undeveloped tastes. Not a blank slate, but what we’re talking about here is a girl you can take to gigs because they are open to it

But it’s also living with a girl, or having them around constantly.

Talk to me about this girlfriend budget?

We come out on top, in the next adventure! I am being slack, but I am also soaking up the goodness, as we move on up.

We were talking about the new video production website, we do photos for it, we’re good. Done. Same with the pirates, we’ll have our little packages, so forget it for now. But then we ran the numbers on entertainment and we started to like what we saw. It could work, but we have to make it work and stop dicking around.

It’s about the next level where we’re getting to.

We’re rolling out spending on websites and videos for now, then we go to ads, and whatever elaborate additions after that. The websites are getting better and the videos are getting better, and the ads are getting better and the traffic is coming through and what?

We got spending going on. We got parties happening and models in videos. We need tunes that are big enough, we need fans signing up so you can get your ticket out of here. So you’re going to have to learn to produce content and write and all the rest.

And you’ll have to stay focused when you have actual fans all on you. And as I was blogging, if you’re getting cashed up, you need to be able to say hey – this isn’t me.

But it looks like we may have $5-600 p/week to spend on video production, advertising and event promotion.

So we just want to be doing one kick ass tune, one awesome music video and a excellent gig and a big campaign to push it through every month, and spend $2k.

You couldn’t seriously spend more than $400 on ads and $1000 is enough to lose on a gig, and if you lost less, that would measure how flash your next video would be, starting from $600, which is already alot, in fact I wouldn’t spend more than that on the video either, because we have to learn to be able to sell it for $1000, $1500, and then $2000, hell, double down, go $4000.

That means you go $450 rent, $350 expenses, $400 savings, $200 treats, $400 for vid/ads/gigs

The more it rises – right now it’s at $4600 which seems quite a lot. It would indicate, 2 months and some, but we’re still building up to that.

But I don’t know if I want to thoughtlessly throw money away on gigs.

We need some solid content campaign ideas. My new zealand drum and bass mix stuff page. Some ideas will have to be a bit ho hum in terms of appealling to a broader audience.

I want to talk about material requirements. We seem to be freaked out about not earning at least $2 when our budget is $1.4 so I think this is because I actually want to have that money so I can be comfortable and lavish. But do I? This is something I’ve always wondered about buying stuff because I sense that I get closer to a point where I don’t need all this extra stuff, I don’t have to pay for it.

Well work backwards.

I’m assuming that at 48 I will live off my earnings and save only my returns. At 57 I will live off my returns, until I am forced to live off my savings.

But after 57 I may still be earning. Eventually I may even earn a pension! It’s unlikely I won’t still be earning. I could still be earning well so living off interest may seem silly and I’d wished I hadn’t saved so hard now.

Paint me a worst case scenario. In 5 years, despite hitting my target all the way to 375, I am struggling doing 6 from print and duplication 3 from gardening and pirates and 2 from online stuff. But I would have a lot of time on my hands and be established with resources also, you don’t think

375 + 375 = 750
800, 855, 910, 970, 1035, it’s 44 and I stop saving, 53 and I stop earning.

So even the worst case scenario is fine. The most realistic scenario is I’ll be well on 400, packing my + 375, or not, at 48, I could well still be doing $500 worth of printing and other related stuff, $300 worth of online video etc., I can’t help but think I’ll always have some way of bringing $500 a week in, even at 54.

Or maybe you’ll get 65 and you’ll only have a million and you’ll get at least $600 in the hand in interest payments, you’ll get a $300 pension,

But I’m more thinking my 40′s, this business will dribble along making $600, I could have another business doing the same, plus you’ve got pirates, content and gardening able to pull in $500.

Okay so this is what I worked out. If you’re gonna do something – like video production or video editing, a music video promotion or anything – it pays to know how you’re going to get it done before just launching in without assessing issues that could come up.

For the video production website we will be putting new packages together, and then adding new copy and new videos based on that. You want to be committed to how you earn your money, but you don’t want to have to work to hard in video production, because we’re not desperate basically, we’re prepared to take the time to wait out having to do the unenjoyable slog of entering the market from below and working your way up.

So do me some numbers on online video production services first:

I wanted to do some bigger numbers on an idealized scenario also, zoom out.

back up gardening/trading/pirates: $500
entertainment: $400

What that means is if you can make some money out of entertainment, that’s enough. You don’t have to make any new plans. And investing money into an entertainment business now is a good idea.

Don’t you think if you had 5,000 newsletter subscribers you’d sell 2500 of each release, and be able to get 100 people anywhere easily and be charging $500 a night? you’d do 4 2.5 week tours, america, europe, south america, asia + australia, or perhaps you’d double up, 2 x northern hemisphere, 2 x southern, try and do 12 gigs and make $6k each time. try and sell 25k tunes per year and make $25k, make $5k playing in nz, maybe you pick up some youtube money and blog as money too, maybe $5k, but if you had 5,000 subscribers, you’d be trying out tricks to bleed $5k out of them every few months.

Of course I’d still make $500 p/week from my business interests, maybe even pirates and such, some video, whatever.

enough dreaming, what do you really need to do?

The focus on pirates and video production and talent is all long term.

Right now we want to do these photos for this music video. We can’t do that video, so we move to the next. We’re looking for footage for polyps and kings.

They both have clear themes, but no we need to do mandroid and where’s baby first.

We want to do more adwords campaigns for our artist website, but the sites still not done, we have to get back on to that. What do we need to seriously start advertising?

Music for free download, get the download situation sorted so you’ve got the option to sign up for newsletter, add to social media or the download, what more can we offer? We decided to do the newsletter, so we’ll have to get that decent and that won’t be easy.

you have to think about it reverse engineer. We need to be at a point where we can sell 1000 copies of our tunes, and get paid to play, getting 20k hits on my 50 videos every week. We need a couple of thousand fans. Get the first 1000 paying $5 for each one, and then get another 1000 just through songs spreading. Nice dream if you get there.

you need the photos for this, but then I worked out a tax idea. Yeah and I was like nah yeah, let’s get this new video camera so we can just get the photos done and get the websites done, and then what are we left with?

Nothing left standing except for archiving and assistants, the new music videos, and just video production in general.

So massive. So easy, so not an issue. The current chapter of archiving ends with the I can only ask music video any way so, we’d want to reconvene on that.

So these surpluses keep going on, we can’t write off no more. We can’t save no more.

So we’re working on buying now.

We’re surging pas the milestones, we’re packing 2.4, I mean seriously. But it’s all the same, websites, and then video, promo, gigs and video production. It doesn’t really have to be budgeted for I mean have a concept model, but why put numbers on it when the word is to go forth, do video, gigs, advertise them and make sure you have an awesome website video. Do you need to monitor that? partying? gigs? video.

You have to know when to splash the cash, right now, it’s doing videos and websites. When a gig comes up, that too. When the websites and videos are done, ads will crank up, we will keep doing video.

We will do more editing, more video effects, more shooting and get girls in for the videos.

Well we finally have that money in the funding area so there is dancing in the street and we’ve raised enough money to cover our video production budget. We’re ready but we’re thinking, it’s all crawling slowly over to video production and music video production ruling the schedule. What do you have to be aware of that we put down cash for now?

I don’t really know, we have to unwind and chill out, we always have to unwind and remember it’s about music and video and art. Stay focused!

What are we trying to do? Get recognised with music videos and video production so that we always get gigs and possibly get paid. Basically. Entre to the scene. We have to have music and video rocking to get in.

There’s at least 10k that will happen so you have to front up to the idea that next summer the videos and the parties will pop. Or may be I’ll just build my talent agency and do heaps of music videos at the same time.

This is why we go deep philosophically so that we have central ideas informing our actions.

But you were talking about making the fundamental choice for the future and I’m not sure video production was in the lead there, but we’ll continue to feel it out because this is what video production is, it’s a dollar each way, whatever we do with video production it can’t hurt because we give ourselves the opportunity to do more stuff, if we want to go more art, we do video art, if we want to go more with girls, we’ll do video with girls, if we want to make money with videos, then we’ll be looking at that too.

I think video is obviously the new money, when in doubt make video, it can’t hurt, if you’re confused and not making progress than more money and more video content can only help. So it’s just about getting out and filming really because it’s still early days.

I guess I’m slowly forming that idea of what I should be and y’know it’s how I made the standard with cash, and now I attempt to make the standard in video production and I’m like, yeah. Then socially, well it springs from having confidence in cash and art, yeah, you’re moving socially, but I’m talking about art 2. Jusy like you’re at money 2 now. 2 is almost the ungoal.

We honestly only need 1 pair of shoes and jeans every 3 months now. tailoring won’t be major either, just completing a few extra looks with trousers and shoes, but we might buy some shirts and hoodies. For the house get the desk and the dresser then see what you need. Y’know it’s about some thing you need to buy, but we’re just checking it over. We need to buy the camera mainly.

How many shirts? 10. 2 or 3 cool hoodies that fit. Belts. What’s the one thing to focus on? Our looks and maybe shirts and hoodies.

So we did have some definite idea about the direction of the cheap video production site, that I wouldn’t really push any services under $297 for the most basic video editing service, it’s just not worth it.

I’m still puzzling my way through our budget surplus dilemma also. The idea of not using the money is stupid. If any case, we should spend anything and everything on more support staff.

It’s just not enough though because I think even spending $200 a week will leave us amazed at how suddenly untied we are. So what theoretically are we to spend it on? Parties. Video, Ads, whatever, we can relax, knowing those are things to put extra money into.

That’s how it is, all video. You need to be focused on how budget online video production can make it happen. It’s a trajectory from bumming around doing my own stuff, do getting paid to do the same thing, and just increasing my rates.

So we’re starting off, I don’t know, doing what we like. With an artistic direction. no more saving. no more writing off. Just videos, and spending up, and money for ads when the time comes.

But I feel our videos have to catch up to our releases, for more impact, so we can do the landing pages, and crank out ads, so we get big fan bases and we can gig whenever and get paid, so I am always flush enough to do crazy music video production ideas.

I get these ideas how I could become gun at running these video productions and be turning them out once a day for $500 with only doing a few hours work.

We’ll want more quality, what does $10k get us? $500 p/video, we don’t even need that, though in 18 months I want to be there, $500 spent on video editing etc for a video to go to TV. And I’ll charge $1500, and then $2000 for it, do one once a month.

Just get to it the art of directing video production, online video editing services, music video producers you got it.

Go in, start to do it, do less work, do what you feel like, it’s not necessary to worry about commercial stuff just yet. Do what I want to do live art, find out about stuff, that’s what it’s about, finding out.

Pirates and DJ related stuff is the only thing I’m wanting to advance. But not even pirates, like, for real. How are we going to advance my music using video?

Well for now we have to just do music video production until the songs get better and become worthy of greater concepts.

Until june I want to chill. Focus on improving work flow. Improve work flow, write jams and just film stuff without having a plan. That’s all, for the next 8 weeks.

I have some ideas for campaigns for that. We can go through auditions or we can target models with ads.

It comes down to where I see myself in the future. If I had to pick one what would it be? Probably the music videos, but that’s no reason why we shouldn’t try to build our promo video agency.

But onto the natural mechanics of the video production budget, as we were on 10.5, and covering $200 we were to spend on printing, and we added 11 today and also took off I think 2 from that so we could have been on 11.4, and you you take 9.7 from that and you get 1.7 and you take .8 from that and you get the surplus of 9 so yeah it works out. and it’s awesome. Why, how does it work again? we were.3 over, we added 1.3 and removed .8 for our expenses, but also wrote off .2, leaving us .6 over, then we shifted it to allow for 1.1. and yet it’s .8, but no matter.

We were happy because at 9 we have to stop and start writing off again. We’ll flick some on the credit card, up the payments and forget about it, and take care of the printer money, and that. I’m adding up 6 hundy plus the tongans, and that’s it for now.

Now that’s gone to $300, and the tongans. And even the tongans i don’t know about.

This is supposed to be anew post on cheap video production but hey guess what it’s not, because it’s me just writing random stuff on my blog. Well video production is going next level whether you like it or not, unfortunately so what can I say about that?

Tell me about the next level? Well we’re going to be moving up our assistant roles so really all we deal with is sales, managing print orders and generally stocking supplies. So basically I check my email for sales tasks and print orders, and then I’m done.

In the meantime stay focused – new business admin, websites and the front room need to be looked at.

But I honestly don’t take any of my websites seriously because none of them need anything right now, i am actually trying to earn less and therefore all those efforts to increase or improve the business must stop. Stop? How are you supposed to stop?

Oh well, you know a car issue. We learn this and that. How do we stay with the idea?

We were saying why throw money at websites you’re not ready to use. Why promote talent if you’re not ready to promote talent? You’re going from dreaming to doing, why muck around doing something you’re not really doing? You’re fishing? Seeing if there’s a bite.

Are we fishing, are we looking for new bites? In certain areas, not really related to funding. We just know more waves of work will come in so lets be prepared.Let’s get that capacity up.

But we’re not to forget our other business – we know that websites are not actually a big deal, the front room is kind of meh, we car stuff and a photoshoot we want to do and it’s ongoing with regards to keeping the business tighter and rolling smoothly, but it’s getting used to the idea that we don’t need more funding for youtube productions online.

That’s why the websites go to the back of the line, but assistants don’t. assistants, photoshoot and front room are all contributing to the business but not in a profit driven way.

So doing this song and getting preped for these next 2 vids and maybe doing a funny vid is the vibe.

Like get on a visualisation trip. You’re completing the song, you’re picking up that extra grand that takes you to the very edge, we’re already preactically at that edge, when we get to $2k we have to have a plan. Get another person in. The song is done, the pressure is off, we’re getting the chess board and outfits we need for the kings vid.

We’ll be rolling out the new music vid, then the where’s baby and mandroid vids, then here we are we’ve gone from uploading our 3rd video, to doing 4 released songs and 4 older songs, we’ll be aware that we’re supposed to have 6 other songs coming out this year, leaving 6 other spots for new songs to meet our quota of 20 videos this year. So once we’ve done these 14 videos, hopefully in the next 6 months, we’ll be ready to start doing some pretty intense videos, I would be aiming for only 15 next year.

Revisit the album strategy and all the songs we might still want to be pushing out, I can only ask and still hope we had strategies for all that.

It’s all about building a team who can turn out such a combination of skills that it looks kind of crazy and like it would have taken effort.

$100 for multiple exposure edits – because I’ll only need 2-4 minutes worth tops, but I want a lot of different combos to choose from.
$120 – for edits – taking 12- 20 minutes of footage and making it into 4-7 minutes worth and some clever edits
$60 – graphics, animation and titles
$100 – talented models

$380, 3 days complete work, i’d be charging $2000. Have a project manager getting $200. I’d pocket probably $1400. How many youtube hits is $2000 again? 600k+ thats quite a few. $6000 a year to make 15. $120 a week. Easy, that’s what we’ll do in 2013, do that 15 times.

Hire girls to go out with you, shoot for half a day, get the others you need another day, so you got 2 versions of the song, to mix together, then you get the crazy titles and animations over the top. The more we plan the better it goes.

We don’t even kow how it’s going to be to be when that damn song is done.

option b is what we’re facing and funnily enough it seems like the right choice.

So what can we do towards what we know we’re doing because today I felt a huge sense of relief, and felt so much clearer because I had youtube video production stuff cleared, less to worry about. What’s worrying me now? That grands worth of work will come in, and we wont be ready.

We’re still recovering from waves of $3k, and things won’t go that far again, without serious compensation, we’re asking questions at $2k, but if that goes ahead, we’ll still be looking for almost $20k to get rid of, seriously, how do we do it?

Really for the front room we just want a desk. But I thought you were trying to make it pimp? What’s the $1000 for?

So it’s all a fantasy where you’ve got the right friends, go to the right parties, but it’s all a fantasy because that’s not me.

I want to get out and take a lot of footage, and put it with my beats. But I want to meet people with ideas and engage with them and get the opportunities. What kind of opportunities? Play my music. Meet actors and other storytellers I can work with. Get access to people with talent because they like your work. Nice ideas.

I’ve been into my work for a while now and it’s time for a change for me.

I’m much more interested in my work and my interests than going out boozing, I’m involved in music and I love to write and I’m learning about various cameras, I like to get out with my cameras! I’m really into creating media.

but a lot of the best things you can go out to do are for couples – checking out a gig or a new bar or restaurant, or some novel attraction, a road trip. I want that in my life.
